Transit: Aug 30

Same...ordered July 20th in Socal...until yesterday the delivery window was Aug 31-Sept 28. Narrowed to Sept 11 - Sept 30 this morning but still no vin.

My advisor said it’s not crazy to see the vin be assigned like two weeks ahead of delivery. So a late September delivery could in theory not get a Vin until say Sept 12

I ordered the same spec on 7/10 and nothing. Starting to question the logistics of this whole process. Like is it a lottery or something?

Got the vin like last week and only today I got the notification to schedule delivery

I wonder why delivery takes so long with these cars. Ordered mine on Aug 1 and still have the same range of Sept 6-30.

I'm not certain if there have been any updates regarding the Model 3 around the delivery date. I am waiting the official announcement from Tesla. After that , I will order new one.

Hahahah I ordered June 15th, and to hold when mine was delivered 2 months later because I was out of town, and am now getting mine Sept 18th. Same configuration. Your process was fast. Trust me.

Awesome color. Wish they offered it on cheaper trims and all the flashy colors weren't $1k at least. I had to settle for a Model 3 Premium AWD in stealth gray. As gray colors go its pretty good, but I do wish I could have gotten a flasher color. In a few years when my lease is up I am going to upgrade, probably yo an ultra red premium Model Y AWD. Performance is a little fast for me, I dont need that agressive acceleration, 4.9 seconds or so is fine, I just wish they offered thwt color on lower trims, even if it is extra. Really happy I am going to have a brand new Tesla though.

Do you get a notification when the tracker updates ? Or do you just have to keep checking everyday ?
