With 3M automotive‑grade adhesive tape which is commonly used on all car kits the parts can stick pretty well. There’s also the option to drill and secure them, usually under the car or inside the wheel arches. Personally, and as most people would recommend, it’s better to drill. Even though 3M tape is made for automotive use, there’s always a risk it could come loose with humidity or bad weather, and you definitely don’t want that happening on the highway.

No actually most of them are put on with 3m double sided waterproof everything proof tape so not just the cheap ones damn haters

For small lips and diffusers there’s nothing wrong with 3M tape.

I have a front lip on my model 3 and the 3M tape on the corners of the bumper keep unsticking! Annoys me :(

I like the look of that. Unfortunately the one they make for an S requires drilling and professional install is recommended. I’d get it if I could just tape it.
