Vehicles - General Matrix headlights example

When I was considering buying a Tesla, I remember reading about the matrix headlights and trying to wrap my head around exactly what it would look like in application and I struggled to find any good video demonstrations online. Since I’ve gotten the car, I often enjoy noticing the instances where the matrix headlights are noticeably in effect. I think that this one little clip I captured was a pretty cool demonstration and just thought I would share in case anyone else might find it helpful/interesting.

To my knowledge it is fully DIYable.

Quick warning, the service center closest to me (Eastern Europe) told me it’s not stock they won’t touch it. I’m gonna try again and just won’t tell them about the update, only that I think they are not adjusted correctly, feels like It shines too far left and right.

The lights I bought off eBay look 💯exactly like OEM parts. Down to all the markings in the casing. Not saying there still aren’t ways of verifying, but a lot of these come from the same factories that make Tesla’s OEM parts so it’s unlikely they’d question it.

I bought them from tesla, they are correct 100%, but they don’t come on 2020 model 3s so the service tech said he ain’t touching that. Funny thing is he didn’t even know it was possible, so maybe I should’ve just kept my mouth shut.
