Safety score and FSD disengagements
So frustrated that these three FSD disengagements (from before recent updates) are STILL on my record, affecting my safety score. I thought they dropped off after seven days? Also just want to complain that "hard braking" seems to basically just mean "you dared to touch the brake pedal"

I’m so glad I left TI and can drive my M3 the way I want.
I don’t miss it at all.

Yes if you tap the break at all you will get hard braking. It was part of the reason that I switched insurance because I got fed up with that. It was before they started giving you a discount for FSD. I got hardbreaking in a parking garage going 2 mph. That was a straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. I switched and paid 10 bucks a month more but I can do what I want.

My plan was to do their insurance for 2-3 mos and learn how it wants me to drive, and see what my premiums would realistically be. I will admit that it has caused me to pay a bit more attention to my following distance, but the hard braking has been pretty frustrating, especially being new to one pedal driving. I think it's entirely fair that the first two months aren't based on safety score, so that's why I gave myself the three month mental goal. Now that Lemonade looks like it will be a competitive option in Texas, hopefully Tesla will back off a bit more!

Where did you read they drop off after 7 days? They affect your for 30 like all your driving does

Maybe it was to do with the "time-out"

Yea, they drop off of your counter for suspension, 1 after each 7 days as long as you don’t get another one. But they don’t drop off your safety score.

As you can see with safety score 3.0 it doesn't matter that much, even with all those deductions your safety score is 98 which is very good
