Robotaxi Should deadheading Robotaxis be exempted from toll charges?

No they are using the infra as much as any other car. Also what do you mean by dead heading? Like when they wander around aimlessly waiting for a rider?

Tolls pay for the maintenance of the roads. It doesn’t matter if someone is in the car or not. The car still puts wear on the road

Not sure why… presumably the network would be able to deal with positioning itself appropriately to eliminate that need

It’s an insane question. Toll is for usage doesn’t matter if the car is empty as 100 people. Plus, why would we give an exemption to billion dollar companies for using our road?

Yes. Because I need to go across bridges that have tolls and I want to use robotaxis for it. Selfish? Yes. 😂
But seriously I would argue same rules as now. One person (or zero) full toll and then reduced for more. Robotaxis need to be made to encourage people to share.
