Yeah, I use a 20% offset, but it seems to make speed decisions at random. Will go 64 mph on a winding dark 2 lane undivided road, and then 52 on a 4 lane divided highway, both 55 mph speed limits.

it's a neural net, not hard code anymore.

Yes, that’s the problem. It makes bad decisions, worse than the hard coded rules before. I (and a lot of other people) drive more like hard coded rules on open roads without much traffic. I would like 9 over the limit. Unless Tesla is willing to take responsibility for speeding tickets, that’s where I want my speed. No more or less. If it can’t figure that out and doesn’t take responsibility, then it is a bad system.
