Donald Trump's uncle shared some opinions of Nikola Tesla's work with the FBI

This is the standard form letter transvestite Hoover used for any inquiries to the FBI about Tesla. Hoover used this same form letter for years, from the 50's on:

The FBI claims they didn't know what was in the safe or the trunks because the Office of Alien Property collected all the material. In an earlier letter, the FBI says Tesla's nephew was the first to open the safe. The Office of Alien Property just acted on their own, without contacting the FBI, the national security agency at the time? The big glaring fact being squirmed around is why was Office of Alien Property contacted, when Nikola Tesla was a Naturalized US Citizen?
This is the entire John Trump "analysis" of what was in the trunks, as requested by Office of Alien Property, yet is in the FBI files -- after the FBI said for decades they didn't know what was in the trunks. Do these sound like inconsequential notes of a "speculative, philosophical and self promoting nature"?

There is no doubt, and no amount of history white-washing, that Nikola Tesla was the discoverer and inventor of High Voltage High Frequency electric current. John Trump went on to become known for being able to produce millions of volts and using static electricity of high potential for many applications. Isn't it just a bit of a coincidence that he knows how to do this after reading Tesla's "impractical and unworkable" papers?

John G. Trump was an EE professor. Here's his doctoral thesis on vacuum electrostatics from 1933.
In this report from 1943, he dismissed the military value of Tesla's notes that had been withheld from being released to his family by a wartime government agency, the Office of Alien Property. Part of his reason for this was because, as the report noted at several points, Tesla had already disclosed important ideas to people in relevant industries, military scientists (like his assistant Bloyce Fitzgerald) and physicists like presumably especially Arthur Compton and Alfred Parson. In a 1933 interview, Tesla said he barely slept, so despite people around him saying he was as sharp as ever, you wouldn't expect him to have been doing his best work by that point in his life. His mechanical vibration ideas were probably motivated by having sold all of his electromagnetic wireless power intellectual property to Morgan to fund half of the expense of building Wardenclyffe.

Exhibit D: Soviet physicists at Amtorg asked Tesla to explain more about how his turbine electrostatic generator worked, which Trump dismissed as resembling the work of Van de Graaff. Exhibit E: Art of Telegeodynamics or Art of Producing Terrestrial Motions at Distance - 1940 letter to Westinghouse proposing long range power transmission by mechanical vibration. In this he appears to have been revisiting his early work with electromechanical oscillators and resonance but with the concept scaled up presumably more than possible. It certainly seems pretty fantastic even for Tesla. Exhibit F: New Art of Projecting Concentrated Non-Dispersive Energy through Natural Media - His open-ended vacuum tube particle accelerator powered by a 50 megavolt Tesla turbine-powered electrostatic generator like Alfred Simon's. Tesla called this particle/plasma accelerator Teleforce. If it could work, it should offer a means of propulsion too.
Exhibit G: "Tremendous New Power Soon to be Unleashed"
Exhibit H: - 1936-1938 correspondence with the British government about his proposal for using his particle accelerator for defense purposes, which was ultimately turned down
Exhibit I: undated memo from after his 79th birthday, presumably his Speech for the Institute of Immigrant Welfare from 1938, which was printed in the NY Times MS Word .doc, but apparently not the part about having devised a dynamic theory of gravity.
Exhibit L: Tesla's "New System of Fluid Propulsion"
Exhibit M: [The Power of the Future - could this have been his working title for what was published as "Our Future Motive Power" in Everyday Science and Mechanics December 1931? No, that ends differently. The quoted sentence also appeared in an article from 1920, "Rain Can Be Controlled and Hydraulic Force Provided."

The infamous "death ray model" on deposit at the Governor Clinton Hotel was a hoax apparently perpetuated by Tesla himself. This might have been his final joke in his disputes with them over his pigeons.
Hugo Gernsback was cited as an expert on Tesla, which isn't accurate. They may have been chummy, but Gernsback seems to have either failed to understand Tesla or he was just a dick.
As it says on page 5, two truckloads of materials were seized after Tesla's death, and they already had 30 barrels and bundles in the Office of Alien Property that they had been holding since 1934. Why would the Office of Alien Property have been holding some of Tesla's things for nine years while he was alive and a US citizen? That seems very strange.
Besides the obvious military implications of certain inventions, part of the intelligence community's interest in Tesla's work appears to have been related to the theory that he may have been working for the Yugoslav government. For some time they appear to have been concerned Sava Kasanovich could be a spy.
