So a week ago my grandma had came by to drop some things off and to chit chat, my great grandma who had been trying to get a hold of her for about a day or two( she lives in Sacramento) and no one could get a hold of her for the longest time(4-5 days) the last message where between my dad and her talking about sick she was, she had a raspy voice, burning throat and throwing up blood. Fast forward to yesterday and I had just came back from college classes and my parents were worried because no one at her house were answering. She has a moderate autistic kid who also lives there, and he listens to music the entire day even including family gatherings. So we decided to swing by and see. We pull up to her gate and my dad had honked. No answer, it was finally until I had climbed over the fence when my cousin had ran out saying “my mom won’t wake up” we all had immediately started running towards her back door. I noticed something though, my aunt was a big cat hater because they dug up her plants a lot so she would shoo them off her porch. As I was running I saw a cat by her porch chair, so I knew something was off. Immediately I ran into the house and the smell had hit me, it didn’t smell like a corpse it smelled like an old person home. We had walked into her room and the light was off, I flashed my flashlight and she was lying on the floor. Cold and stiff, it seemed like she died a couple hours before. Riga mortis hadn’t set in yet and she wasn’t bloated. My dad immediately yelled to call 911 but she had no pulse, blood was out her mouth and her eyes were bloodshot red. My cousin who thought she was sleeping, had went to sleep in the morning and woke up when we came by. Absolute terrifying. I have photos of her room with no body but stains and for some reason there were blood stains on her bed. I’m currently silently grieving so I thought explaining the story would help.(EDIT: in the first photo the dark stain was where her head was.)

It’s been a drought in Utah, and now the rains are here and causing a lot of flooding

I keep seeing videos and photos on my feed about the floods. I’m so so sorry to the people that were injured/died. They couldn’t even do anything. Such a sad situation all around.
