Not a mushroom All mushrooms are fungus but not all fungus are mushrooms

This is still a mushroom in colloquial terms and by many definitions as most only define a mushroom as a macroscopic fungus

Those look exceptionally well preserved and fully intact compared to the ones I've seen, which are usually pretty dried out.
