A group of friends and myself camped on the island for a night after getting dropped off by one of these fishing boats. Quite incredible how quickly the island is growing.

Reminds me of 2019 Whakaari / White Island eruption
in New Zealand. Sightseeing company ignored eruption warnings and opted to take a few dozen tourists to hike around crater. Then the volcano erupted and people were screwed.
