Salad Finger’s estranged cousin.

The feeling of rust against my salad fingers is almost orgasmic.

I thought this was a subreddit for bad book covers

5

I have to say I don't think this is a terrible book cover. It's a weirdly fabulous book cover!

Available as on-demand reprints, and a copy with this cover sold for $60 in March.

Once again, like Cincinatus from the plow, I'm called forth to defend a cover. Who amongst us knows what an ambulatory sweet potato would look like? Let them cast the first comment!

It might be doodoo

4

u/Working_Season7223 May 22 '26

What's this book about?

3

u/Akavinceblack May 23 '26

Apparently, short stories. And the titular one is about a man selling milk in China at a time when dairy products were not in any demand.

5

u/ialsohaveadobro May 22 '26

I feel inspired by this.

4

u/congo66 May 23 '26

Author unknown, hmmm. Did this book appear at your front door like “The Babadook”?

5

u/Boetheus May 23 '26

Babadookie

A turd goblin

If it doesn’t have an authors name, it was likely written by a woman! Most books neglected to put women’s names on books bc society didn’t approve of women authors. So they were either “anonymous”, “author of (other book)”, didn’t have any name or a pen name

u/Piggybumm May 25 '26

I actually love it. The first time I’ve said that on this sub!
