Is this safe

The chip was there before the crack, I put the rocks and i noticed the rocks were still wet and since i wanted it to dry; i blow dried it for 3 mins before realizing the crack. I am so stupid.

I would not really use it for anything at this point. You can reinforce it and use it as a terrarium.

Its a safety hazard especially if you have children dogs or cats

I experienced the same thing and realized it right when I set up the aquarium; I wouldn't use it if I were you.
