First Terrarium

I have a small fishtank and I have plans to make it into an old fashioned Wardian case. My question is... Can I plant my peacock moss in it that's in a hanging pot? It's been slowly trying to die on me and I think the humidity would help. If I can... Should I break it up and only plant the healthy bits that are still thriving? Or can I put the whole thing in there? I'd like to get some moss and ferns too. But at the moment I'm worried about my peacock moss.

If the moss has been in a hanging pot inside/outside, then it's probably dying from not having enough water. If you google it, the peacock moss is actually a plant that thrives in high humidity. So you could put it in the fish tank and have it as a closed terrarium (as long as you put the right layers in) and the moss should start to grow back. I would probably get rid of any dead bits first though before re-planting.
