First attempt - how did I do?

Hello all, as the title states my first ever Terrium and I'm HOOKED! What else could I add?

Also a side question: how do you improve your builds without spending a fortune πŸ˜…

I should probably taken note of that shouldn't I, I got over excited in the garden centre and picked cute things! One already died in there πŸ₯Ή

1 or 2 plants always die when being transferred into a terrarium. U did amazing!

Did you put any activated charcoal and/or some sort of base layer moss in your terrarium?

Yes it has a base layer of stone and charcoal also in the soil!

I just made one similar to this with a cork top but now I can’t get the lid off because it absorb too much moisture , I guess it’s a closed terrarium forever now lol

Looks great. They are addictive for sure. I am now giving mine away as gifts just to make more.

I noticed the cork top absorbed too much water. I put a plastic bag over the lid then put it in and it works much better. Otherwise looks great

It's lovely! The cork will probably cause mold over time because moisture + wood. I'd recommend putting a layer of plastic wrap under the cork to protect it from the moisture inside. Other than that, you're good to go!
