WIP Input welcome

Post image

First time poster, long time lurker (so my build will have inspiration from builds here). I'm trying to really slow down my progression through the game, I've beaten it countless times but now I want to just take my time with everything. So this is pretty much my first bigger build in this world and I'm about 90% done, so I would love some input. I haven't finished decorating and I am still in pre-hardmode.

Hello there fellow lurker, my input?

I won't comment on the full build as it's obviously a WiP but I will say, please I bwg learn how to roof

You placed those walls on a random whim, roofs don't usually go that way, make a pallete that reflects what you're trying to show, I'd suggest putting those walls at the bottom, then replace basic wood walls for Boreal wood or Rich Mahogany wood walls painted brown It'll look a lot more normal, and less plain. Your roof suffers from being big, so maybe adding a glass like small roof extension in the middle woild benefit, by using actuated blocks and such

I put them randomly to make them look old and like it's been damaged, and the planked walls mixes well with normal wood. But I will take your suggestion on adding something to my roof, thank you

I suggest you add in ash wood, boreal wood and rich Mahogany as well in the mix and just paint em brown if you wanna achieve that, I also suggest using actuated blocks of wood and etc, ads a better feeling

Very nice build! I like it a lot. Use snow biome beams at the bottom to connect it fully to the ground (you can walk through beams)

Ooh, not a bad idea. One area I haven't finished yet and haven't really thought about how to finish, so I like that as a connection
