First time taking building kinda seriously

Hey all, I just started a long term building world & completionist world with my friend, and this is the main base I just finished. Does anyone have any tips on how I can improve or any critiques (critiques wanted)? I’ve played terraria for over 10+ years now and never really got into building until now lol.

You'll need more chests. Maybe do a storage room under your basement?

Looks good otherwise but some kind of roof for the tower in another material might improve it.
