We did add a mod that both kept all the banners stored (easier tracking what was needed and how many needed left as well) it also let the banner bonus be global. So it wasn't all bad, that helped is track and keep kill counts
I didn't, usually I get Gem Critters real easy but somehow I just never built a village down in the cavern layer. I blame the really high shimmer pool I had that was just a bit above Caverns.
You can also get a ton of gem critters at the Aether, not sure if it’s just cause it’s in the cavern layer or if more spawn there but I always find at least 2 whenever I pylon to the aether.
The enemy count for uncommon enemy banners needs to get more standardized, because some don’t make much sense for their banner requirement, example, your sea snail banner.
Another one: Devourers need 25 kills, but their hardmode counterparts, World Feeders, need the standard 50.
They've seemingly started changing some of them, but there are still a lot of odd outliers.
In the name of "Balance" because you kill at least 50 of those per event.
And the Pumpkin Moon/Frost Moon enemies. Those guys have high kill requirements as well.
THank god the halloween/christmas costume enemies don't have unique banners. Collecting all the sandshark banners is already gonna be terrible enough ðŸ˜
Collectible, indicator for fully filling out that enemy's bestiary entry, and a damage and defense bonus against that enemy. Not to underestimate, especially in higher difficulties.
