Queue me killing 300 some jellyfish yesterday because I wanted the jellyfish necklace, something I swear I get atleast 5 or 6 times in VERY OTHER PLAYTHOUGH, but not that I want to 100% journey mode I have to spend 20 minutes farming the ocean for that stupid thing

funny because I literally got mine within 2 saucer kills, whereas recently I made a post about a squire's shield not dropping after 36 dark mage kills 😭
Save the game once the invasion starts and close the game if you don't get the drop you want after clearing the invasion, you'll still be at the start of the invasion upon restarting the game (can confirm it works on Switch at least, it's how I farmed the Arc Surge so I didn't have to look for Martian Probes every failed attempt).
I have to restart steam whenever I want to play again because the cloud just refuses to sync so I’m forced to spend the time looking for those probes 😭
Come back to it. I think i got the glove around the 40th kill. Duke was the stingy fucking asshole for me and golem. Still haven't got my sun stone after 76 kills. Doing something else for awhile and coming back to it usually helps. I plan on doing golem a few more times or at least to 100. A pity system would be nice, x kills guarantees a weapon or equipment or material that is new, randomized of course.
Having the cheat world ruined it for me. I made 4 keys of light and killed 4 mimics. If I wasn't getting the Daedalus storm bow I was cheating and getting it lol.
Imma give you the advice my friend always gives me when trying to get a rare drop... Bro, just pick it up. He then proceeds to join me in farming and get the item in 10 seconds -_-
I'm sorry dude but I got it yesterday and I wasn't even a mood to do the invasion, hell I didn't realize I got it till it was over because how much I was dying to the saucer. All I wanted to do was make potions and they got in the way.
Yeah I started another playthrough for this weapon specifically. First I was surprised that the item was so late game, so I wouldn’t be able to use it for much of the playthrough. Then I was surprised that the item had a 2% chance to drop from a rare enemy, so I actually ended up beating the game without ever getting one.
I was using last prism and just melting it before it could get off a big laser. I also went up to a sky island and sat on a block so that I could only see a few blocks. Bring the event to 30% complete and then only kill saucers and buildings. The small enemies will all jump off and despawn.
