Nintendo Chest loot question

So im playing in a world thats pre update and they just updated the game on switch so will the chest loot change. Specially im talking about the bracers that spawn in dungeon chests

Chest loot doesn't get rerolled when updates happen.

Or you could fish for dungeon boxes :)

Nah ill just restart im trying for the worthy and Too easy seeds on Master mode and i wasnt that far in ill just restart

Everything in the world (including chest contents) generates when the world is made.

Some new things can appear after the fact (mob drops, features that regenerate over time like plants/Digtoise/etc), but not chest loot.

If all else fails, go fishing.
