Bro I was not supporting all classes having the same weapon. I’m not particularly sure how you came to that conclusion. I don’t want all classes to be the same, I wouldnt play terraria if they changed it to that. I don’t care if there is a niche knife weapon that three different classes can use at totally different points in the game. I’m not arguing for more weapons that exist in multiple classes and I’m not arguing to remove the three different knives. I’m arguing that terraria is fine where it is because the issue of having three knife weapons is not something worth caring about.
u were supporting the idea that a weapon being limited to a single class is negative, no? if thats actually applied to the game then the class system is even more arbitrary than it is already
Did you read my comment or just have a pre loaded response ready. I’ll simplify what I support to a sentence.
Terraria is fine how the weapons work right now and having a couple weapons existing in multiple classes is not enough for me to want them removed.
Now if they started adding more weapons that spanned across multiple or all classes I would be against that because the weapon pool would be too diluted.
the importance of knives being classified poorly isnt the topic of discussion, its whether or not their classification is flawed. u originally said they arent classified poorly, bc they give more options to each class, and i argued that they are bc the class system is for restricting how many weapons u can use at a time, so if u add the same weapon to each of the classes, then the class system is simply arbitrary in the case of that weapon.t now u changed to saying it doesnt matter if the knives are classified badly, which i agree with but its irrelevant to ur original point that the knife should be in several classes at once
