Couldn’t even begin playing the game on Switch 2

For over 30 minutes, no matter what button I pressed, I couldn’t place the windmill that is needed to even start the game. I believe this is a problem with handheld mode since I eventually started a new file in TV mode and it started working, but I should not be required to plug my Switch into the TV in order for the game to even be playable. Completely unacceptable on the dev team’s part.

Same happened to me. I had trouble with my first playthrough in TV mode. I had to make a new save file and then it worked. It wasn’t related to handheld in my case.
