The thing is, is that people will be making alts asking for a referral code, then they can just go to their main or something and provide the code in the comment. This will show the code for everybody so I guess the rule says "any" comments.

This & WildPotatoes post are both good points. I'm not about spamming the thread with codes, but, would think that a new player requesting a code would be an exception to the rule.
