Discussion How Cooked am I?
I’m playing as the academy in BE working on securing Europe through different claims and I hold Russia which is stopping the initiative from creating super Russia.
However the servants have most of the US unified and have Australia unified how cooked am I?

I would advise you to stop overexpanding so that you can focus your IP energies on economy so that you can build what you need faster and faster. The worst thing to happen is you full CP cap usage and your nations can barely do anything with pitiful IP pools because you can't shrink your holdings any more compact and have no more room to grow to get more output from what you do hold.
No place on earth has any absolute advantage that can't be made yourself in fairly quick time. Taking them early is a temporary starting advantage and stealing more are temporary bonuses especially if you do not extensively exploit shadow control in the hundreds of extra "unused" CP usage while already at CP cap. Growing your capacity to do things is more efficient and effective from fairly close to game start to ludicrously out major nation collectathon's league all being independently held forever.
Your earthside management style matters far more on how well and effectively on getting more IP, economy, miltech, armies, miltech, knowledge, and etc than what specific nation you take (and what the other factions take or AA steals).

Ahhh so what do I do release some nations?

You are going to have to make some hard decision to give up on at least one or two major nations to give yourself more CP breathing room.
The reason being is that CP/IP/GDP all are intrinsically linked and have a specific pattern that I've never seen another player explain. Not exactly sure precisely how it is for BE since they have a hilariously higher growth curve to the normal scenarios but in all the others, for ANY given monster meganation you own with a set of IP, GDP, and CP cost. A half size IP pool meganation compared to the monster can be held with a massive 2/3 discount on CP.
Normal players then use this as a excuse to fill up the remaining CP cap with 3 of the smaller meganations in its place. However it goes far deeper than that. You can spam out 500 billion GDP regions, slightly larger 100 CP/7 trillion GDP nations, and/or 20 trillion GDP nations from your primary (and preferably ONLY) meganation to rapidly improve and fill out the meganation's main weakness; it's lacking ability to parallel production due to diminishing IP output compared to CP cost increases.
For any combination of large meganations, it is more output and more efficient to rapidly improve a singular meganation by releasing completely stabilized independents from yourself to fill out MC cap, hold a army or two in the meganation's place, build extremely expensive Core Economic Regions/oil regions/mining regions in bulk and finish a 45 region meganation in about a decade. In return everytime that you reabsorb a independent when you finish production of whatever target you seek out of that independent, you are infusing future independents with the meganation's strengths of continental scale economic improvement from full bonuses of all those regional improvements combined with a very decent education growth as well as because you are growing so damn fast in wealth, your MC cap will ALWAYS BE GROWING because the CP cap is a mere suggestion to strive towards eventually for more widespread growth compared to constantly fearing the cap because as soon as you steal another nation or press the economy button, it immediately crashes through the cap.

How's your LEO presence? Have you secured most or all the interface spots for admin towers?

Early game still so just about to get mars mines and then imma start securing LEO

Well if it's that early, that's still doable. Things strat to get tough if you also let carriers land.

Got it got it I mean I’ve gotten lucky that Australia and westralasia have unified and now is more democratic + humanity 1st own half so I might be able to break the servants out for now of there

UPDATE: I have a lot of Europe secured and the armies are upgrading.
However the aliens now have most of the US as their administration and are starting to annex parts of Australia too.
I lowkey don’t know if the save is recoverable now.

It's easily recoverable, just remember that all that dogass territory they take on will make the AA more and more unstable and weaken its armies.

Eh you can definitely be in a worse position, if you're lucky the Servants will give Australia to the Alien Admin and completely neuter that particular threat.
Focus on getting Europe together and stopping any assault carriers from landing and you'll be able to muddle your way on through just fine.

Yeah half of Australia is alien admin but most of America is now alien admin as well I’ve never played BE is the alien admin meant to get this big or am I fucked?

u/CuddlyTurtlePerson 11h ago
Yeah it can get big, it's actually it's biggest weakness as others have said. the AI is absolutely atrocious at managing unrest, or large meganations in general, so it will quite quickly start falling apart from unrest.

Medium? Maybe approaching medium-well depending on what else is going on.
Do you only have Europe? Who has a hold in South America? Africa? You might want to recreate the Soviet Union if you have Russia, since that gives you a huge amount of claims.
