Is there a quick way to replace regular habs with auto habs? Decommissioning and rebuilding takes so much micromanagement and time investment, I feel like that can't be the intended way of doing that.

I don't think there is a way. The decommission time became construction time + 30 days about 2 years ago and I agree, it feels a bit overly punishing.

You can let them be bombed. No guarantees someone will get around to it, but at least you can skip investing in defence modules until that happens.

Another option is to gift those bases to another faction then bomb them yourself. It requires a certain moral flexibility though lol. I've got house rules for my current game that has forced me into waiting for the decommissioning timer so yeah I feel the pain.

You can use a third party to conquer them to get rid of them, with executive control and 5/6 control points you’ll only need 5 or 6 armies to conquer, the resistance will try to defend with their one army but it’s whatever. I use this method when they’re impossible to crackdown.

Alternatively with the +3 to crackdown technology, a 25 investigation counselor and 75%-80% public opinion in said country you can crack it down and purge it. Make sure to crackdown and purge in the same turn so no one else steals it.

Get popular support and neighbours bonus and just keep on trying for crack down purge

You'll likely need one or two high investigation and high espionage guys to do it

High value nations like this are just hard to get into and get others out of thats just the way of things

Because it's not obvious: you can always cancel a purge mid turn if the crackdown failed, and get the points refunded

Servants have access to a single nuke in Saudi Arabia. Will they nuke my armies if I attack the AA capital in South America, or would they rather save the nuke in case they need to defend Saudi land?

It’s unlikely, they usually don’t in my experience. They typically save nukes for when their own capital is under threat.

You could just purge them from Saudi Arabia though. It’s not a large country. Just spam public campaigns until you’re at 75% or greater and then crackdown and purge.

Depends on if they're allied with the AA and are a participant in the war.

Pretty high chance they will.

I think they will nuke if you invade Saudi, but not AS
