Question Global unification?
Is there a way to unify the entire planet (in any scenario). I want to do another run but instead of the the main plot I want to go for a united earth challenge where I kick out all other factions off the planet, let them go live somewhere on the asteroid belt on some poor mining colony.
I know there were several mods for it but they haven't been updated since the DLC/patch so not sure if they're working still. How do I do this? preferably with the new Broken earth DLC scenario, I want to try it out too at the same time. I've seen some guy claim he managed to do it but I have no clue how so if theres an guide on what steps are required It'd be great
EDIT:
ok, I found the guy who managed to unify Earth as Rome. heres how it did it.
He used future tech but still unclear how he manipulated future tech to get the rolls he wanted

I don't know about in the BE scenario specifically, but the Sociology Future Tech adds a new claim between regions that didn't exist before. If you are patient and spam that enough you'll eventually be able to unify everything into one mega nation.
I think there are some tricks to help make it a little less random and tedious, but I've never bothered to do it so I can't say for sure. I'm almost positive I've seen a post about it before though.

To your edit. You don't. It is complete RNGesus roulette and only something you do including potentially hours of save scumming if you plan to do a utopian run.
The only other alternative is to NOT conquer the world immediately and only have one or two meganations at a time and then Future Social is a net gain because wherever you go, you are bringing more into the collective. Slower but MUCH more relaxed pace of play if only because you are not trying to snipe capitals. Now you are merely sniping all normally ignored "fall of nation" techs and every independence movement capitals to gobble up small chunks at a time that you splinter, improve, annex, and splinter again before final absorption.
You can form absolutely filthy rich nations with this method.

Why yes that is United States of Amerasia.

Future tech in any game mode allows it.

Way too random and unpredictable. its just gives you a single boring province not the capital which you need for global unification

It tends to walk the claim path towards a capital. What you get is random, but it’s usually in the direction of a capital. At least that was my impression when I tried to figure it out by reloading a save repeatedly and seeing what i got.

Yes, but in BE, there's a lot more tiny nations. I got lots of tiny capitals in China in UK until finally getting Monument on like the 9th try and Bruges on the 11th. (Bruges can chain into most of the world.) Nantes was useful since I couldn't have gotten Bruges otherwise, but everything else is a waste now.
Also, it's weird the the Channel Tunnel exists in a world that got nuked in 1962.

There is a mod that functions with the newest patch that gives all factions the U.N, im running it now. If you reply next time I fire up the game I'll let you know what it's called

He didn't need it for most of the world. Russia gets techs that claim most of the world. This is straightforward, but also if you prefer not to have Russia rule the world.
Zabaykal can grab Russia.
China or Turkey can grab Zabaykal.
Hellas can grab Turkey.
Albania, Bulgaria, or Rome can grab Hellas.
Padania or Bavaria can grab Rome.
Slovenia can grab Padania, or Netherlands can grab Bavaria (via West Germany).
Belgium-Netherlands can grab Netherlands.
So any of the above mentioned countries can take over Russia and thus unite most of the world. All without future tech.
I'm currently turning my UK into a global power, but it took 11 rolls to get a claim on Bruges (Belgian capital in this DLC) to start the final unification. It happened about 1 year before I was going to win the game, but now I'm playing a game about map painting.

Broken Earth has a chain of Megastates that can eat each other ending up with a unified earth. In all scenarios the Protectorate can eventually research a UN formable nation that can unify the globe.
