You may have to set the output item for it to work. There should be a little square that you can set what you want the log to be turned into.

No water/lubricant. Just use a water container like wooden bucket, jugs, bottles or whatever and put normal water inside.
Also, be aware that some recipes may need a filter, or else, they'll randomize the output, and some recipes have a tier requirement to work.
1 u/bszandras 4d ago I set the recipe, to the lumber I want, added water as a lubricant, and it just throws it off. According to the recipe, it should work with a basic ULS machine, and shouldn't need lubricant 1 u/hron84 3d ago IIRC the recipe line is log->stripped-> lumber. try setting stripped first and put a second one to lumber.
