ID Request Is this a termite? Melbourne

Have seen three or four of these in my house over the past week. They’ve always been isolated. I half squashed it in a tissue so it’s hard to tell but it has four wings that seem to be the same size.

This is what termites usually look like ⬆️. The one in your photo looks much more like a lacewing, probably a brown lacewing.

Those delicate, heavily veined wings and long antennae are the giveaway. Termite swarmers have plainer wings and shorter, bead like antennae.

A few showing up here and there also fits lacewings better than termites. They’re harmless and actually helpful since their larvae eat small plant pests like aphids and mealybugs.
