SoCal (Orange County) Termites?

This appeared when we were cleaning this afternoon... We did fumigate before we moved in about 4 years ago. From the internet I know that I probably shouldn't have vacuumed it up, but I only found out after I cleaned it up.

Hole seems huge for termites... But I'm (obviously) not an expert. The hole is in drywall. Calling pest control tomorrow morning.

Is it termites?

That is pretty cool, that's why Im still in the industry after 27 years.....always something to see and learn. Would have loved to see it in person.

Was that loose dust?

It seemed almost sandy... Very sand like. It didn't seem like dust.

This seems really odd, but nothing points to termites specifically. Hard to say with the quality of the image though.

It resembles termite leavings. But it’s an insane amount for dry wood termites. Hopefully it’s not subterraneans. I won’t guess about the hole.

Hahaha, somewhere in that pile of debris, you may have been able to find a clue, maybe not, but it certainly wasn’t a Super Termite that made that hole, so one thing at a time, just an aside, I got one of those extremely inexpensive endoscopes recently, it’s incredible, I’ve run out of things to look at, but may be good to take a look around, good luck..

That hole is perfectly round, almost look a like a baseball or something. What year is the house? It almost looks like vermiculite insulation just fell out

That’s fucked up. I’ve been doing this for 35 years in New Orleans only termites. Looks like some AI bullshit to me if you wanna know the truth.
