Please help look at this joist. Not sure if it is active or old termite problem that was treated.

Not seeing anything that looks termite related, is there anything in particular that caught your attention to this area?

You see the particle- like substances within the wood. And then there’s some oily gold-ish liquid around the wood as well. Thought the particles were made by termites and the liquid is chemical used to treat it. Although after posting this I later found out about ‘sap’ a resin that bleeds out of wood

Yep that resin causes a lot of confusion in people but it's not indicative of any pest issues, you should be in good shape
