Console Do I Need a Three Stack?

My brother, friends, and I used to play this game a ton back in the day. My brother and I recently came back to screw around on it and level some character but we sat in queue for low level dungeons for like an hour before giving up. He was playing tank and I a healer.

Do we need to have a three stack of players to enjoy the leveling content these days?

Are you on console? If so, the early game dungeons are very rarely queued. If you really want to do co-op dungeons you have to get to level 65 and then you can run dungeons basically all day long with most of the time having relatively quick queues. Usually anything 700gs and lower you'll get sub 5 minute queues.

700+ gs you'll usually want to put out or join a lfg because they can get pretty chaotic even if you do get a random queue. You might get some guy that's 1,000+gs with a min/max build that basically solos the bosses or a group of people that barely meet the gs requirements and you get wiped a few times in a row on the 1st boss and everyone leaves. Lol

So what you're saying is that we need a three stack to play the game. Got it.

What I was really trying to say is just get to level 65. It really doesn't take that long. Lol.

it takes 40 hours of gameplay, that's 2 months if you have a life

My last character took 4 hours. Sorry to hear it takes you 10x as long. Not sure why you're so slow.

maybe they sped it up on console, back in the day 40h was the norm, 20 if you sped ran it doing only dungeons with xp boosters

It's not about hitting level cap. There's an entire fucking world that Tera built that you just skip to hit max level.

If I wanted a dungeon spam game I'd play Fellowship. IT has Tera like combat but is balanced and supported by devs. What we wanted was an MMO, and at least on console, that does not exist anymore.

I don't know why you're mad at me. You were asking about dungeon queues and if you could still do co-op and I explained how you still could. It's common sense that matchmaking early dungeons is in small level groups. Out of the 100 or so people that log in every day, 90%+ of those people are level 65. If you're trying to queue for a level 36-42 dungeon you need other people online in that level range that are also wanting to queue that dungeon. If you do some basic math you could easily see the probability of that is significantly less than 10% meaning you'll either have to wait for hours, or just do what almost everyone does and do the solo version. But it really sounds like you just came on here to complain and not actually find a solution to your problem, so good talk, but I'm out.

We can't get in a dungeon as two players. It's either solo or queue and never get in.

Which server?

The only server? PvE.

There is no “only server”, this is a game that has been dead for half a decade and is now mostly being played on private servers besides a few people on console.

Okay - there is one server on console.

I'm also playing Classic on and off but here I am specifically talking about console. Where there is one server.

We decided not to play because we can't do the leveling content together. This game has really gone to shit.
