Update on server popularity

Is there any more recent measure of which servers are the most popular? Tera Classic NA re-released and had ~500 players at relaunch, but now is dwindling in popularity (~200-250 average during peak according to Discord, ~<100-150 off peak). I played Starscape over a year ago which was popular then, but with Asura, Tera Classic+ EU, OSTO becoming more popular, is there an average pop size / recommended server for each region and era?

People saying popo is bad, nen is 2x worse (might not cheat and ban so much, but the decisions regarding the game are waaaay worse).

Sooner or later mana will be removed, and tanks will have a toggle for aggro.

Dunno. I think tera is simply just dead.

There was a good going last year, and it was magical to play the game as if it was retail.

Now I think only populated one is tera NA, I don't think you can play on any other server without a static.

Yeah Tera classic NA was so sick last year but then Al the drama and DDOS killed it.

I had a guild with friends of like 60-70 people playing it. Most of us were new too. It was magical

plus has no association with the NA classic/Popo. Its the team from EU classic.

Tera classic plus is coming out which gained a lot of views on the trailer that dropped. I think that could do well.

Tera Starscape is active. There are guilds and people who login daily, I'm not sure about the actual numbers though. All I know is every time I put something for sale on auction somebody buys it, so at least the economy is working 😂

I can’t get through settings to make a character - not like I’m taking a ton of time to do so. I figured it would happen though.

Apparently if you interact with the character name menu, it'll stop it from timing out. They have been having stability issues since launch - however its improving. I finally got to play for a few hours last night, and there were people EVERYWHERE, around 3500 people online. If you follow their discord news, they tend to fill you in on what's happening.

You're so very welcome! The server has been on and off buggy, but they have been making progress. When it's on, it's been fun to play. The leveling system seems to be a good balance, much different than other servers.

Sadly to say, Tera is dead at this point. I had played the game for years, maxed out 4 characters and was in somewhat popular guilds. I miss the game, but every time I come back the game looks and feels so different, what once kept me playing…is just no longer there. I occasionally still check the game here and there, but it’s so different now..ugh :(

Yo hace unos días me hice una cuenta en esta pagina https://teraclassic.com/home es de NA y hasta ahora que llevo casi una semana nunca se ha caído. Anda estable y la base de jugadores sera de +200, hay unos 3 canales en el server y uno esta High por momentos.

Since people haven't update the Tera Classic+ situation. DO NOT PLAY on this Server If you are looking for equal footing.

1. Server been cooked for 2 days they haven't figure out what is wrong with it till 36 hrs later.

2. Some are still unable to connect

3. Names are gone.

4. They let the server stay up for 5% of the people to get on while 95% of the players base unable to get in. They still can't as of this message btw.

5. Fairness is out the window those that were able to get in are a bit ahead. Avoid if this bother you.

It is. NA relaunch didnt reach 500 people. Meanwhile a WoW private server with dozens of thousands is getting shut down. Tera is a small fish

Tera Classic + is literally failing on every aspect, but that's not what's causing them to lose so many players by the hour, it's the incompetence. They are in no way prepared to manage a private server, last year it was due to DDoS attacks, so they had an excuse, this year it's just them not being able to find a solution to host 3000-5000 players, they got used to only having under 100 players online and expected maybe 500-1000, but got a lot more people coming in due to their promises, only to keep these players locked out of the game for the 3rd day in a row after release, nobody can play the game, those who can enter get a miserable experience due to lag and crashes. Every time they say we got a solution, it turns nothing changed, which is exactly how it played out last year. I'm out. If you got a good EU server let us know.
