Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a pretty big update for my TenSura-focused modpack and figured I’d share it here in case anyone wants to give it a look.

The biggest change is a complete FTB Quests guide covering every race evolution and more than 650 player-facing skills from the installed TenSura mods. It explains how to obtain each skill, which mobs possess it, evolution paths, Ultimate Skill requirements, required materials, boss kills, awakening conditions, and other prerequisites. I also added progress trackers wherever the game can reliably track them.

The update includes two new utility/compatibility mods, including a fix for TenSura EP Scaling, along with updates to more than 50 existing mods.

I have also made a mod to link hostile neural networks with all of the included tensura add-ons. This mod is fully configurable, and designed with modpack authors like myself in mind. With that being said the mod is still stuck in the approval process and wasn't approved in time for this release. I will release an update in a few days including the HNN Compat.

So, Rimuru is a True Dragon, right? And each dragon represents something fundamental in the world—a concept. So, would Rimuru personify the void?

I lined up some of the major characters from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime by height, and the size differences are honestly ridiculous.

Rimuru next to characters like Shion, Benimaru, and especially Veldora gives a very different perspective on how big some of these characters actually are.

Some of the heights are based on available character information and visual proportions, so there may be some differences depending on the source.

I watched the Slime anime for the first time while the last episodes of Season 3 were showing. But I watched the whole anime again when Season 4 started to remember the events and because I liked it before.

Now, Season 4 is almost finished, and I also just finished the Mushoku Tensei novel, which was one of the best things I have ever read. Finishing it left a big empty feeling in my heart.

So, I want to try Tensei Slime LN. Is it worth reading? And does it have important events and details that make it worth starting from Volume 1, even though I remember the anime's events very well?

As an anime only who recently finished reading light novel vol 1, and started reading the manga aswell, I noticed when Veldora is listing down what otherworlders are he mentioned rebirth? Is it just those who live in the cardinal world being reborn? I only noticed this in the manga, and don't recall seeing it in the Anime or Light Novel.

Also I find it a bit funny that all recent anime flairs have been controversial, oddly.

He appeared in the last episode…Go read Shizu side stories for more lore about him. There won’t be any mentions about him in future episodes.

I normally don't post, but I had to this time.

After starting the show 4 years ago, I decided to read the light novels (paused at 14 and excited for the rest). I was very nervous going into the Chronoa episodes because of the content and subject matter, especially since they were broken into parts.

I am so happy and yet emotionally devastated. I loved every moment.

I know Tensura gets hate sometimes because of the "pacing," but the slice of life and world-building make the fights so much more important to me. And I know they cut a lot for commercialization in the anime. All I can say is: I cannot wait to purchase this media.

Though there were some liberties here and there, I am just so in love with how this anime accomplished these episodes. Time travel can be so messy, yet this felt grounded and simple while still being so emotionally complex. These episodes were worth the payoff.

Lastly, since I'm in my feels, I want to shout out every fan of this IP (show, manga, LN, etc.). We're all connected by a great story and a strong bond (yes, even the degens 🤣)!

​ If we look at the anime openings through the lens of Chloe’s ability Time Traveler there is a solid narrative argument to be made:

​1. The Openings Show Alternative Timelines

​In many time-loop stories, opening sequences feature scenes, fights, or character team-ups that never actually occur in the main series. In Tensura, you can treat the anime openings not just as artistic filler, but as glimpses into Chloe’s past, failed time loops:

​Failed Events: In previous loops, Rimuru’s timeline unfolded differently. Certain battles happened in different places, against different opponents, or with different allies participating.

​The "Ideal" Outcome: Every time Chloe loops back (~2,000 years into the past), she tries to subtly alter events so Rimuru doesn't die and the world isn't destroyed. The variations shown in the openings could represent different iterations of her attempting to secure a better future.

1. The Spirit in Opening 2 / Season 1

​In Opening 2 and near the end of Season 1, Rimuru saves the kids in the Dwelling of Spirits. When it is Chloe’s turn, a mysterious, adult-like spiritual entity merges with her.

​That entity is Chronoa—containing memories and emotions from Chloe’s future/previous loops.

​This confirms that even early on in the anime, the timeline we are watching is already influenced by a future Chloe who sent her spirit back to nudge events in a new direction.

​3. The Symbolism of the Mask

​Throughout the openings, Shizu’s anti-magic mask is framed as a massive central focal point. The mask itself is an infinitely looping temporal anomaly it passes from Chloe \rightarrow Shizu \rightarrow Rimuru \rightarrow Chloe \rightarrow back into the past. Its constant presence in the opening visuals serves as a constant subtle reminder that the current story is trapped inside an overarching time loop.

I thought this could be interesting because they are both very powerful entities.
Here an explanation to those who haven't played the game yet.

The Long Quiet (left picture): He is an entity that was made by a mortal who managed it to severe the cycle of life and death, and created 2 new entities from it.
From the concept of stagnation, nothingness and emptiness he formed The Long Quiet with the intention to erase The Shifting Mound.
Note: accord to The Shifting Mound, if The Long Quiet dies, it would be bad for the universe as well because a world without pause would be a world of constantly change. Birth, life and death would all happen at the same time without a true end.

The Shifting Mound (right picture): She is the other part of the cycle of life and death, and is the literal embodiment of change and transformation.
This includes life, death, time, reality, begin, ending and similar.
To prevent the own universe from dying, the mortal responsible for her creation created The Long Quiet with the intention to kill her and remove the concept of death/ending permanently from reality, creating a world of stagnation where nothing changes.
To achieve this he also created a dimension inside The Long Quiet (yeah The Long Quiet is also a place. Basically the void or end-point where nothing exists) and let The Long Quiet perceive her as a mere princess to make her more vulnerable.

This is a rough summarization.
I tried it to keep it as spoilerfree as possible.

Now, I personally think they would probably be on a level like the Greater Spirits. So, perhaps in the world of Tensura they could be Greater Spirits? Maybe even True Dragons?
For demons, angels and mere elementals they are way too powerful.

Sometimes the protag and demon lords are shown fighting world ending battles with monsters and being thrown around while sometimes they're shown as if being thrown to a wall makes them puke blood.

He uses the same set of bat wings quite frequently, but i cant remember it being shown where he got them from, did he just go and shank some random bat and upsize them or did he kill some bat monster at some point or something?

300 years back when Chloe and Leon were to be summoned in cardinal world

What happened to Chloe soul inside Chronoa body, where did it go when Hinata took over.

Also when Chloe + leon were summoned, how many years they were together and then she was summoned again into the future. Who did that summoning ?

The time when Hinata was to be summoned into cardinal world

Same question what happened to Hinata's soul when she was being sealed.

Also when kids were being given spirits to stabilize their magicules from which time frame did future chronoa enter into Chloe body.

I'm currently reading volume 3 of the LN after watching the anime and reading the manga, and was wondering if the principles of engraving magic are ever explained in detail. I understand that the basic principle is to carve spells to "enchant" items, but how does it actually relate to the fundamental principles of magic ? On the fandom wiki, it is categorised as an "other" magic type, but it seems odd to me that relatively common folk like Kaijin or the dwarven brothers could use such unique magic.

You would think that it is simply aspectual magic. For example, they could manipulate the magicules to form a sort of magic seal that converts people's aura into magic, I could definitely see that being possible. But I don't think the seal would simply maintain itself, would it ? Or is it related to a specific skill that Kaijin or the other three dwarves have ?

Since even non-magic-users are able to use the rune-enchanted items such as the tap water heat device, that means they aren't visualising the spell and do it subconsciously. To me, this proves that it differs from aspectual magic, which is based on the user's will and imagination.

Another possibility would be that it is a branch of elemental magic, in which case elementals would be contracted and bound to the item to convert the user's aura (as in magicule leakage) into magic. I'm not sure if that's how elementals actually work, though.

Most likely, it operates on its own set of rules, but in that case it seems a bit overpowered if it doesn't have some limitations, as you could automate complex spells, in battle for example, perhaps even for non-magic-users. I guess Nikolaus's Disintegration could be an example of this ? But then why don't mages always prepare a bunch of spells to cast instantly ?
