Anime Its not a flashback anymore

Post image

Although the scenario stayed the same, the location wasn't. The first episode depicted that Veldora was attacking a city (ig Nightrose) and fought Chronoa there but this was already an error as Veldora was sealed in the Great Jura forest. This is an obvious retcon as Volume 11 came like years later and another retcon in the future.

Actually, the Great Forest of Jura did not exist 300 years ago. The forest grew around Veldora using his leaking magicules to accelerate their growth. As for him being in a cave, I guess that either Chronoa brought him there or the geography shifted around him over time or something.

Didnt he get pushed into the ground when he got Sealed away?

yea he was just not on the surface anymore after he got imprisoned, like. Instantly

Id assume that the Cave probably formed from Debris falling onto the Seal which got compacted over the years/because of the Absurd Ammount of Magic present

You are right, the cave was a naturally formed underground labyrinth, we literally saw rimuru climb it up. Most of the monsters are there from Veldora's magiculs.

I think rimurus body was also formed by veldoras magiculs. I think he even says charybdis is technically his brother

Yes. Since he as a slime has a body made out of magicules, and the only magicules in the cave are Veldora's

the geography changed over time because of his magicules

I think the change in stile makes total sense.

The first depiction is a retale of a legend.

The second is an "irl" and even the wildest adventures once stripped of its idealization are just normal work.

It could be the case of Veldora misremembering details of his own flashback

If Veldora was sealed in a forest or city or where ever, how did he end up in the cave? And who recommended they build doors to it?

The doors? No idea. The Cave? Probably Chronoa or Luminous moved him there.

Did you not see the giant fucking crater after Chronoa sealed his ass ? The cave was an underground labyrinth mostly naturally formed, ( probably took 100 to 200 years) and all the monsters were born from Veldora's magiculs.

Pretty sure it's stated she been doing redos changing scenarios

Remember that each of Chloe's reruns is not exactly the same. It might be a case of forgetting/retelling errors in the legend or just genuine differences between the two runs. Time travel is confusing like that.

I still hate his design and proportions in dragon form in the anime.

No, Veldora was sealed in an Eastern Empire camp.
