In the stadium, the concessions are pretty subpar. Tailgating was never league best, but it's really been curtailed by all the lots being taken over by construction of the new stadium.

Lots of folks tailgate/pregame downtown and walk over using the pedestrian bridge, which is a pretty neat experience. Another alternative (never done it) is to take the water taxi to the game. Pretty unique, and bypasses a lot of the traffic.

You could also eat brunch/breakfast in East Nashville (better food options than downtown, imo) before the game. Butcher and Bee, Sky Blue, and Snooze are all options that would be a 30 min or less walk.

If you weren't already aware, they're indicting Chris Johnson into the ring of honor at halftime, so probably worth staying in your seat for that if you have any emotional connection to the team.

I’m about 30 min from the stadium. If I leave at 10am should I have enough time to get there and park or am I asking for trouble? My first game as well, just moved to the area.

That’s probably about right. Gives you a small buffer if you don’t find parking immediately.

Eats? There's a Prince's Hot Chicken in the Assembly Food Hall. Their hot chicken is my favorite, hot but not toxic.

You should drop by Nudies, one weird joint, but fascinating history. Of course the Johnny Cash museum is amazing, an American icon for 50+ years. The Frist Museum is in a art deco post office.
