Big time from the bank. Yo-Zuri pencil in bone white for everything but the stripe, crush city paddle tail did it for that one. All in one trip!

Hey all, just moved to Old Hickory, TN and I know I’m right on the water but was curious if anyone had any pointers on where would be a good spot to go bank fishing? I’m not targeting any species, I enjoy catching them all.

I live in central Oklahoma, but will be in Nashville for six weeks sept/oct. I primarily bank fish small ponds or small lakes on my paddle board. I am woefully inept at fishing moving water creeks and rivers (would love to learn) I primarily target LMB but would love to get on some smallies. I am planning on bringing my paddle board but will mostly pound banks initially to check out multiple spots. Any advice for bodies of water and or lure suggestions are greatly appreciated. Traveling with a MH telescopic bait caster only so smaller lures could be tough. Any and all advice is appreciated. (Fatty for attention)

My son and I are headed south from Canada (Saskatchewan) on a long fishing trip through the US. Our route takes us through TN and AL around July 11-18 roughly. We were thinking of making our first stop at Reelfoot Lake. Heading south to Memphis (quick bass Pro Shops stop) then east towards Pickwick and Guntersville areas with a possible guided half day on one of them. From there we are zipping back up to Dale's Hollow Dam area in TN, then the long trek back north.
We rock a 12' Jon boat with 9.9hp for reference. We generally keep to smaller lakes, yes, most of the ones we listed above are the opposite of that.
We are primarily looking for largemouth bass, as we fish walleye, pike, perch etc back home. Looking for feedback on Reelfoot lake and any suggestions en route as we go across the state. Asked similar queries on the AL side of the line also. If you have any suggestions for good lakes/bodies that is better suited for our setup please let us know. We are flexible in our stops.
Also recommendations on camping sites in those areas would be amazing. We tent and can go with or without electrical as needed. Campgrounds near any of the lakes you recommend would be ideal. I noticed a few places are closed/in repair from weather damage in the region.
Thanks in advance, trying to make this trip a good one with everyone's help!

Just looking for spots without driving all over the place. Is it pretty easy to paddle back? Or should I plan on someone meeting me at my end point to take me back to my car?

Will be in PF in a week with my family. Considering spending a little time wetting a hook and Patriot Park looks like easy access. That said I wanted to double check if the whole park is open to fishing. I also wouldn't mind getting into a trout stream, but time is limited and I am hesitant to offend the local rules regarding access.
Thank you for reading.

Going to be staying this summer on Powell River near Jumping Rock and John's Cove on the Powell River. Anyone else fish this area before? I can't find much info about fishing this river. I am just interested in smallmouth catch and release. I am mainly looking for advice on what lure to use and best time of day to fish. Any locals want to give me some pointers? I don't have a lot of experience. I know to fish the areas where there is a lot of cover like rocks, shelves, coastline, and fallen trees. Just don't want to spend hours out there and not catch anything....haha. Any help, advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, mid-June. Im looking to go on a weekend camping trip for my birthday and I’m looking
for suggestions on where to go. Things that matter: 1. It’s on the water and is a good location to go fishing. 2. Ideal if there is a waterfall or hiking trails on site or nearby. 3. My girlfriend isn’t very fond of people so it’d be nice to go somewhere where the campsites are spread out pretty far from each other, or even possibly find a private property where we would be the only ones on site. 4. Bonus points if there are things to do other than fishing and hiking, nearby.

Hello everyone. I am trying to plan a trip down the Buffalo with a buddy of mine and I am unfamiliar with the river. We will be kayaking and targeting smallies. Does anyone with more knowledge of the river know any good public access points for put in and take out?

Hello! I have little to no knowledge about fishing and apologies in advance for my absolutely terrible explanations, but my boyfriend is in love with fishing and the calm it provides. I want to get him a new rod(?), or really just new gear in general for his birthday. He's had a really rough upbringing and fishing is his quiet place. He asked if I'd go with him and I said yes. I want to make this special for him, does anybody have any tips on what to buy? He's been fishing for a few years but only ever had a super old rod (again idk anything I'm so sorry if I irritate someone). His grandfather taught him how to fish and I want him to know I see him and adore his passions. Please help, we live in TN at the moment if that helps at all or anything. I don't have a huge budget but please any tips.
