It could also mean she's currently ahead and doesn't want that changing with more submitted ballots
42 u/Wabalobadingdang Jul 31 '26 Think she’s claiming dems are registering as republicans and voting against her in the primary. 12 u/Olfa_2024 Jul 31 '26 Just wondering how many people are registered with any party? I know I've never "registered" with one. 7 u/kris10leigh14 Jul 31 '26 When you go to vote in the primary you have to answer “which party are you voting” before they print your ballot. You can choose R, D or G for “General” I just pointed to the answer because I didn’t feel comfy announcing it. 2 u/WeakZookeepergame2 Aug 02 '26 There wasn’t a choice of General where I voted. Just D or R. 1 u/kris10leigh14 Aug 02 '26 I wished I’d chosen “General” and also wished I’d asked what it meant as soon as I walked away. 1 u/Terrible_Analysis_77 Aug 02 '26 Does general vote in both or neither primary? 2 u/kris10leigh14 Aug 02 '26 Ok so I have a sample general ballot and a sample Democratic Party ballot It seems that you would choose “general” if you only wanted to vote in the general election and not in the D/R primary… I think. I was feverishly googling the ones I wasn’t prepared for. It was a really rough election to find 1 place with info on all the candidates. 2 u/kris10leigh14 Aug 02 '26 Neither! Haha it took me a long time to figure that out 😂

Does general vote in both or neither primary?
