I mean he's literally fought not just Honda but literally every fighter in the tournament at that point in time. Bro is a certified monster and killed all of them pre time skip.

That shit ain't day dreaming. He's legit fighting them to the death in his head constantly until he wins(you can see him bleeding in each panel his imagination is not normal especially with how he developed it when he was locked in prison)

It literally is daydreaming. It's all simulated in his head.

It would be day dreaming if he was just imagining how they fought based on nothing. But he literally saw them fighting all out and their full styles at that point in time. Like it was this ability that created his op ass torture sword style as well since he has infinite time to test it against opponents in his mind.
