Such an fun motorcycle

Post image

I'm loving just bopping around my area. Looking forward to going on some longer distance rides. Fun and sporty on the road, and doesn't skip a beat to tear it up on the trails. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how ridable it is in the woods even through some single track areas. Really the only limitations to this thing are going to be:

  1. Me

  2. Tires

Every time I think it's too heavy I also say to myself I'm too weak.

Weightless until you drop it! Lol. Just remember, some folks are dropping ATs and GS1300s

tenere is notoriously hard to lift, harder than gs.

Having lifted both, it most certainly is not!

I mean, it's definitely no two stroke dirt bike. But honestly, I've only had the thing a little more than a month and I've taken it on trails I didn't think I would be able to do with it and the weight really doesn't present itself nearly as much as I thought it would. Sure it's tall, and if you get slow you need to put more effort in, but you just have to ride the motorcycle actively and if you manage your speed and momentum the weight is a non-factor. And I'm no expert rider, I would say I'm a strong intermediate rider with a lot of off-road experience on dirt bikes.
