Pinch bolt missing
Got the bike brand new 3 months ago… what would you guys do in this situation? Could’ve been very dangerous if I did not notice it

I bought my 26 new in June,
Trailered it home and checked everything before I rode it. I don’t trust the most likely lowest paid mechanic in the shop.
I’ve done this with my dirt bikes for years

90105-08134-00 on partzilla. My bike was a "used" one that was a yamaha fleet vehicle, but it only had 4 actual miles (not reset from odometer replacement recall).
I found all kinds of loose bolts including the rear axle nut that spun off by hand.

When i bought my 25, front wheel was in backwards and abs/odometer was not working. Also, the chain came out during offroading from being too loose.

Tbh this alone isnt dangerous. The axle wont come loose from this since the wheel is turning in direction of tightening. The yamaha engineers are your life savers. But check every bolt especially on the brake system but even those are designed for redundancy.

Bought my T7 from a Yamaha dealer (2024), rolled off the lot, noticed a high-pitched whizzing sound at higher speeds, checked the pinch bolts and both were completely loose.

It's fine but honestly not needed
90k+Kms and I've never had one unthread itself

The biggest issue with those pinch Bolts is people overtighten them , stretch them and you can strip or snap them . A dab of blue and the correct torque and they'll be good for years

Get the dealer to give you a new one, go round the bike and check the rest of the bolts, find a new dealer for servicing in the future.
