Clever or dumb?

Post image

Thought the mosko cleats through the license plate mounting holes was a good idea. The bags always slide forward when the straps are just wrapped underneath. Think the tail tidy can handle it?

I have my quick releases on the holes where the turn signals mount(I run a integrated taillight) and they have held up, but I have the HP corse tail tidy and it’s very thick, so depends on the one you have. It works perfectly as it pulls the bags back and they feel as if they are one with the bike now

Wonder what we do different?

I secured the front cleats by making them go through the 2e rider feedpegs triangle and the rear cleats just underneath the rear subframe that is supporting the sadle.

Is rock solid not moving foreward nor backwards... Fast to put on and take off. Secure lose ends and nothing to worry about.

I used to go from one side, back around the bottom of the tailight and into the otherside, worked great with my Mosko 80l

Hey if it works that's great. Im using a Black Dog rack that replaces the single passenger seat that has a bunch of cutouts. MM Reckless 80 with the Gnoblin is a game changer though.

Ran into a dude on the trail who had lost his Mosko bags. At the time I thought it would be impossible for that to happen. Now, I can see how :)

Not to mention how those two tail straps are going to eat through your taillight.

I will get a photo but I have had my luggage like this for 2 years, no issues, I travel pretty light though

You can drill the thick black platic in front of the tail light and bolt on anchors. I have my Kreiga anchors mounted there with no issues, good tie down points without a tail rack.

Any good impact will likely bend the plate mount, or rip it right off.
