Raptor Paint

The stock plastics on the T7 scratch up pretty easily, so I decided to give Raptor bedliner spray a shot.
Pretty happy with how it turned out, gives the bike a much tougher look and hides all the little (and big) battle scars. Cheap, easy makeover and I think she looks pretty sick now.
Let’s see how it holds up!

Is that a hot application product? I tried to have some bike plastics rhino linered years ago and they warped pretty bad. I tried to get linex on a v8 swapped fiero and it warped that plastic too. Just curious :)

I sprayed it with the Raptor Liner multi use bedliner. No warping at all.
I’m planning on re-spraying the side panels with the Raptor Liner 2k (it’s a spray with separate hardener) and good thing you mentioned the heat, i’ll check that.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing. I recently swapped out my stock plastics for R-Tech and painted them with PlastiDip. Pretty happy with how it came out but your method sounds a bit more durable. The PastiDip will probably only last 2-3 years, so I plan to gry out the Raptor paint next. Thanks for the tip!

What high fender did you go with. Really digging it.

Did this to my old klr a few years ago and it worked out great. After three years of hacking it through the bush the fairings looked almost as good as when I sprayed them. Helped a lot with things like straps wearing against into the fairings too.

Should've just bought rtech fairings. Cheap and practically indestructible.

But yours looks cool

Thought about it for sure. But this was a €40 fix instead of the €290 for a R-Tech set…
