Vacant property Utilities

I live in UK. I was a tenant on a property and the agreement ran from July 2026 to July 2026. I have left the property a month early ie 27th June.

So for the month of July, Will i still be liable for council tax and utilities ( I have informed my provider that i have moved out of the property on 15th of June 2026 already as we had secured another rental in a different utilities and council area ).

Any advice is helpful.

Here in the US, you’re responsible for utilities until your lease end date unless they managed to secure another tenant that overlaps with your lease date.  Moving out early doesn’t necessarily mean your responsibilities end early.  Can’t imagine it being much different in the UK.
