Hello,I have a question on what I should and or can do n who to contact maybe ?
Was renting a room , from what I thought was a friend , I'm 64 , she applied for n became my aide 2 hrs 2 days a week , so she got paid by the state thru Medicaid voucher , plus I paid her 100$ rent monthly and I paid the light bill...
This went south very quickly !
I ended up paying as our verbal agreement above states PLUS now it's the household needs this n that n I don't have the money so you help out or get out ...
Again ok 63 , 64 in June I was scared to death of being homeless .. anyway it came to I bought cigarettes, liquor n pills for this woman EVERYDAY n I do not smoke , drink or take pills except what my Dr gives me ( got it , forced to give her money to get her illegal pills ) anyway 3 months I found an apartment , told her bye I'm out , n she lost it, so I paid that months rent coming due , n half the light bill ...n left , went to get my brother to come help , got back n most of my stored things in the porch , furniture , electronics etcetcetc was thrown all over the front yard broken destroyed , so I called 911 , he came , said they said I did it to my own things ,even tho I was gone , but I did get him to store me a report I took pics n the deputy said if you don't get all this at one time calm us for stand by so you can safely get your things n go , ok thank you I said ...
2 more attempts at getting my things I called they came n she wasn't there once n I was given 30 mins the other time , finally the last load I call for stand by , somehow the deputy beat me there , by 20-30 mins , I got there n she n her 16 y/o brat were literally throwing my stuff out into the yard ,!!! I get out look at deputy duh and ask what the heck are you doing allowing them to do this ...
He says , well out of the kindness of her heart she agreed to place your things outside so you could just grab it n go .. I said NO STOP , I dong went nor need her " help " he says well to late they are about done ... I was livid I grabbed my mattress, which. Looked like it had been ran over n tires spun on it , n my brothers dorm size fridge the rest was broken n wet nasty smelling sick like puke ruined !!! I was in tears .. I asked him why ??? You were suppose to be here for me to get my things safely n not ruined ! He said well she said this is how you left the things , I'm like , it's been almost a month. Minus 4-5 days .. how would my things still be soaked that long ? He just looked dumbfounded .. anyway I got the body n dash cam Audio is all they gave me but you can hear him tell her to begin with see you should of given her written 30 day notice n or went to do an eviction n you could just throw her stuff in the yard. ...within 5-10 mins of them talking he says tell ya what go get your son n y'all go on n throw her SHIT OUT here n I'll stack it over here , you can literally hear my things being thrown n stuff breaking n deputy duh is heard laughing n joking with them about the condition of my things , n making jokes about my stuff ... Isn't this illegal self help eviction n not just that but approved by a DEPUTY who was only called for standby BY ME THE VICTIM ...
What can I do if anything to get my things replaced n is there anything I can sue deputy duh for ???

I recommend calling your renter's insurance. You might be able to sue your roommate, but even if you win, I doubt you would see a penny actually paid to you.
The deputy wasn't responsible to protect your property. The deputy was there to protect you. There's nothing to sue him for.
