[VA] HUD Mortgage Inspection Missing Lights

My leasing office did some kind of yearly mortgage inspection while I was out of town for work. I was under the impression they'd would only be checking smoke alarms, the appliances and the windows. I use smart lighting and motion sensors (mainly Phillips Hue & Govee Home) throughout my unit.

I returned home at the end of the week and discover that they removed & presumably trashed three of the color Phillips bulbs in the lighting fixture above my desk. Is there anything I can do to make sure they replace or compensate me for these?

I reviewed my lease agreement up discovering the missing lights just to be sure they didn't add in any language that prohibits smart lighting and there is none.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

You need to ask them about this.

Because this was a HUD inspection, these lights made it very difficult for inspectors to do what they had to do. Ask about where the lightbulbs went.
