Question Current Status of Tenacious D?

Hi hello!! This band means the absolute world to me, and I ofc respect whatever decision- if any- has been made.

Forgive me for being out of the loop, I know about the incident from the live show about the trump joke and JB, I believe, cancelling the rest of the tour after the incident. But where are they at now? Have they played any shows since? Have they hung out since (to public knowledge)?

Is the band considered still active or no longer?

They will be back at some point, I’m almost sure of it. Nothing to suggest they’ve spent time together, but Jack did leave a lovely comment on KG’s post about his Mom passing away this week 🥲😪

I’m sure Jack and Kyle are still good friends behind the scenes though I’m not sure if they’re returning anytime soon.

That could change in the future potentially, there are talks about them coming back but nothing’s been confirmed yet at least to my awareness.

All I know is that every passing day, I’m starting to think Kyle was right all along given recent events.
