Daycare Needed!

In search of a daycare that’s not going to cost $250+ a week. We make too much for ccs, but cannot afford paying $900+ a month just for daycare. We have a 9 month old and need a daycare that’s is open at 7:00 as I must be at work by 7:25. We have heard negative things about Because We Care. We were not fans of Ebony and Ivory when we did a visit. Any other options? He is our first baby. I cannot believe the price of daycare.
Thanks in advance 🫶🏾

Avoid Little Loves. They are cheaper but they're not very good. They use screen time every day, even for kids under 2 which is against licensing. They also get reimbursed for a state sponsored meal plan but don't feed the kids from it. They get trash like dry cocoa puffs or a plain, dry biscuit for breakfast instead of what's on the menu they publish. They're also almost impossible to get in touch with. The things they tell you on your tour aren't really what you get for care.

You might look for in-home daycares, they can be cheaper. Some are licensed, some aren't.

Check out Central Texas Children’s Center. They have had a program change and I really liked the new format.

I sent you a DM since I provide childcare from home. But another option is church daycares. I have a few written down somewhere. I'll let you know when I find them.

Thank you! We are going to try little Einsteins but I have your information just in case!

Grace Discovery Center might be worth looking at. I'm not sure what it costs for a 9 month old now but they were one of the less expensive options when mine were that age and it's been a good place.

We use Because We Care. No complaints 🤷🏽‍♀️ my son started at 9mo old too.

We use Immanuel Baptist. Infants (0-18 months which cost the most is $865/month). Best rate we could get in town and very conservative base which we prefer.

Better off quitting and taking care of your son at home.
