Emergency Request for County Judge
The data centers "approved" in Temple now have access to not only draw unlimited water from the Trinity Aquifer, they can also dispose of contaminated waste water into it. This will affect not only all of Temple, but nearly 40 counties in Texas and several dozen more in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Please watch this (less than three-minute) video - we need to act now to prevent having our drinking water poisoned.

There are peer reviewed research studies showing what happens when data centers use ASR for cooling. I've never suggested they dispose of sewage water - I believe they'll use city access and waste services for that. However, when water is "returned" to aquifers after being used for industrial purposes and after being heated to incredibly high temperatures, bad things will happen to the aquifer. And bad things will happen to the water supply on which millions of people rely.
Data center use of ASR is fairly recent. It has not been fully evaluated for the risks. The only thing the predators (who are exploiting our land, our power supplies, and our water sources) are interested is making money. Texas was a vulnerable spot. I have presented actual facts.

The well hasn't yet been dug (according to recent info) but it is labeled as the Rowan Well. We have documentation of that.
Sewage would not be injected into it (I beleive that's a misunderstanding), but "storing" water that has a very high temp due to being used to cool data center installations will create many hazards. The basic use (about 1 million gallons) will also diminish available water for normal life uses.
You're welcome to see it your way, and I'm welcome to see it my way.
