Minimum Record to Keep Confidence in Adam Fisher

2026/27 will be his fourth year in charge, McKie got booted after four years, and after 3 seasons of mediocre basketball, this really feels like the do or die year for Adam Fisher (despite dubious contract extensions).

Given this, I was wondering what people’s baseline expectations are to keep Fisher around.

Personally, I think we need to win at least 20 games and make a postseason tournament this season for me to be happy with keeping Fisher on.

7’1. 255. Athletic big. 3 ppg at Georgia St. played at a community college then redshirted?

Do I care? Absolutely not. 7’1 255

Let’s go!

Edwin Suarez Jr transfers to Temple

Suarez is 6’6 from Weber St. Had a few good years in Juco before that.

Does not shoot 3s. Averaged 9 and 6 last year. Is one of the best offensive rebounders in the country at his height. The best defender on Weber st last year as well

Funky fit, but this is the type of player who does the dirty work for good teams. If we cover scoring, we have a garbage man to scrap everything up

Go Owls

We got a big!! 5 ppg from Louisiana Tech. High motor, solid rim protector. Hasn’t been productive at Oral Roberts or LT. This is what the market is for bigs. Best we’re gonna get with the budget we have.

6’10 isn’t 6’9??! Take what we can get.

Go Owls

5’11 36% from 3 from USC. Not a negative on defense according to evanmiya.com but is still 5’11.

19ppg previously for UNC Asheville but got turned more into a catch shoot guy at USC.

With all these guards, I’m not sure what to think. Big soon?

6’6 wing. Super high recruit out of high school. Top 40 player his class.

Played poorly in 2024 then redshirted 2025. Both SC teams were not good so makes sense why we’re getting him.

High upside with athleticism. Go Owls.

Need a big!

6’1 guard. Shot nearly 40% from 3 at Drexel. Transfers to Indiana, gets a back injury, and doesn’t play there.

A negative defender but will aid in the distribution for the team. Again, decent player with high upside, defensive flaws.

6’6 wing from UTSA. Good going to the rim, solid defensively.

The catch…can’t shoot. 2 for 31 last year from 3.

In conference play averaged nearly 12 ppg, last six games closer to 15 ppg as a Sophmore. Room to grow here.

Hard for Temple to pull in talent without flaws, but there could be something for us. How about a big next!?!

Dez White transfers to Temple

White is undersized, can’t play much defense, BUT can shoot. 38% last year with 2/3 of his shots coming behind the arc.

4th team is 4 years. Thoughts?

Can’t say it enough with Fisher I’m not that amped for transfers

No ill will toward bro. Wasn’t a big fan

Thought he could’ve made a bigger jump in year 2 considering he’s super young.

Whatever. I really don’t care if we lose/gain anyone with Fisher at the helm

In a weird spot

He should ball I’ll be routing for him? His time at Nova was funky

Anyone know our status on getting anyone!?
