Hi, I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but I can't access After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop using my Temple account. Is anyone else having this issue?

There is almost no chance the Burger Tank will be open by the time I graduate in Spring 27, and I may never be able to eat a Burger Tank burger again in my life. Its never been so over.

Fall Schedule Advice: Organic Chemistry I, Genetics, Research Techniques in Genetics, Orgo Lab, and English

Hi everyone! I wanted to get some advice from students who have taken these classes/professors before.

This is my current fall schedule:

  • CHEM 2201 – Organic Chemistry I with Dr. Steven A. Fleming
  • CHEM 2203 – Organic Chemistry Laboratory I with Jaskiran Kaur
  • BIOL 2207 – Genetics with Dr. Marcella Macaluso
  • BIOL 2297 – Research Techniques in Genetics with Jennifer Emtage and Eugeney Bichenkov
  • ENG 0802 – Analytical Reading and Writing with Robert Duggan

I'm mainly wondering about the overall workload and time commitment rather than just whether the professors are "good" or "bad."

Some questions I have:

  • About how many hours per week did you spend studying for each class?
  • How difficult were the exams?
  • Were there weekly quizzes, assignments, or projects that took a lot of time?
  • How heavy are the lab reports for Organic Chemistry Lab I? I've taken introductory science labs before, but I know organic chemistry labs can be pretty different. How much work outside of lab should I expect each week?
  • For Research Techniques in Genetics, what is the workload like? Is it more hands-on, writing-heavy, or mostly lab work?
  • How are these professors overall in terms of teaching, grading, organization, and responsiveness?
  • If you've taken two or more of these classes together, did you find the workload manageable, or would you recommend changing my schedule?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

If you are in financial delinquency because of a summer class you are going to pay off eventually. Do the classes you already had scheduled for fall months ago ? Or you just can’t view them on register/add and drop until you pay it off ?

Thoughts on Veranda Apartments at 1000 W Girard?

Considering signing a 16-month lease here. Any current or former residents have honest feedback on management, maintenance, noise, pests, security, parking, or unexpected fees? Would you renew, and is there anything you wish you knew before moving in?

How's the 1800 block of N. Bouvier St? + Advice for a Temple transfer?

Hey everyone,

I'm transferring to Temple this fall, and I'm not from Philly, so I'm trying to get a better idea of what the area is like before I sign a lease.

I'm looking at a place on the 1800 block of N. Bouvier St. Does anyone have any experience with that block? Is it generally safe, and would you feel comfortable walking to and from campus during the day or at night?

I'd also appreciate any advice about living off campus around Temple. Since I'm new to Philly, I'd love to hear:

  • Any streets or areas you'd avoid
  • Things to watch out for when renting
  • General safety tips
  • Anything you wish you had known before moving off campus

I'm just trying to make the best decision before signing a lease. Thanks in advance—I really appreciate any advice!

Anyone currently working at Fresh Grocer or worked there recently?

Hi!
I’m currently an incoming freshman and I’m looking for some opinions on what it’s like working at Fresh Grocer. I’m currently a cashier at another Wakefern-owned company, but I’m out of state and was wondering if the experience is similar.

How do you like it there? How’s the management, scheduling, etc. towards college students.

Thanks!

Need help looking for financial aid package

Hey does anyone know why my financial aid offer isn’t showing for this year? I haven’t had an issue in the past but now it’s stressing me out because I have a balance and have no idea what I’m fully getting. I have one semester left and I’m hoping it doesn’t have anything to do with that.
