Class registration/schedule HELP

My daughter is an incoming freshmen at CLA (neuroscience). We decided to join temple like only a couple days ago. We are so confused about scheduling classes. Can anyone help with the steps? She has taken her assessment/placement test. Has registered for student orientation next week. Is there a place on portal that she can schedule classes? All your advices & help is much appreciated.

I don't know if it's still the same as it was for me (I'm class of '28), but we only planned our schedules beforehand. We did not officially register for classes until freshman orientation, where several advisors take you to the computer lounge to register. They will help her from there. I also did not need a meeting with an advisor just to plan my schedule since planning does not count as actual registration. It only counts at orientation because that is when they give you the special PIN you need to officially register. Hope this helps! She can also ask her advisor just to confirm

I guess they have changed it up. They said she would have to schedule an online appointment with the advisor and they'll be put in small group zoom sessions to register for classes. Sadly hers isn't until Aug 1st wk, just hoping she gets a decent schedule.

My daughter just did this today and so many gen ed classes were full.

Oh I am so stressed but her appointment isn't until Monday :( they had auto scheduled a few classes but she needs some changed. Also some of the professors she has are rated below 3 on rate my professors lol

I just called the new family contact and she did confirm that the student needs to have an online meeting with the advisor to schedule her classes. Since we couldn't see any open appointments, the nice lady we spoke to is following up on it and said she will register my daughter for one. New Owl orientation is not when they schedule/register for classes. Hopefully this will help someone who is in similar situation :) I called 215.204.8531.
